Time is the fourth dimension. Like the first three dimensions, it is not simple and linear. We are linear fourth dimensional animals, though: we experience time sequentially in one direction. It seems all of the fourth dimension exists concurrently, or at least, in a fashion more complicated than we are capable of understanding.
If time has wave forms, like much else in existence, events dramatically impacting Time might alter the waves in multiple directions (present and future). People who are very observant/sensitive might detect these changes in wave forms. “Changes” would probably be relative–that is, when an event in another timeline doesn’t occur, it has a different wave form from ours, and is theoretically comparable.
Multiple potential explanations for “seeing the future” exist in pseudoscience, speculative science, and many spiritual Belief Systems. This is a real phenomenon that is being Interpreted in myriad ways, and it’s hard to say which has greatest PTT.
I have a hard time with this subject because I can’t distinguish “real” theory from science fiction and feel my bias is powerfully strong compared to the meager genuine understanding I have of such concepts. I do feel I can defer to a sense that SOME such phenomena is real, even if only a low-level mundane pattern recognition.
- When my intuition is correct, does it meaningfully matter why?
- We can understand higher dimensions about as much as ladybugs understand English. It’s not within the scope of biological reality in a meaningful way to us.
